General ConditionsYour contract is with Featured Summer, Lda, (“we” or “us”), company registered in Portugal with the fiscal number 510760449 and licensed by the portuguese central public authority as Travel Agency with the RNAVT number 4484, and is subject to the following booking conditions.
Please read through these terms carefully, as they constitute a legally binding agreement. We are fully authorized to use and act in name of Place and Tickets trademark, registered at the National Intellectual Property with number 560658.
By accepting these terms and conditions you are also accepting the terms and conditions of the included package service suppliers, being it the event organiser or promoter relating to the event, the hotel or other accommodation and the transport operator, all terms and conditions related to these services are hereby incorporated into this contract. Copies of all terms and conditions can be obtained on request from Place and Tickets.
Place and Tickets allows you to purchase, accommodation, tickets or an all-inclusive event packages (‘Event Package’) - that includes the elements that best suit you from the available choice of our services.
Where two or more people are included on the same booking, the person purchasing the booking shall be deemed as the contracting party and will be responsible for all payments, amendments or cancellations. He/she will do so on the basis that he/she acts as an agent (‘Booking Leader’) for all members of the party and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of each member of the party. It is the responsibility of the ‘Booking Leader’ to ensure that all the information on their booking is correct.
Place and Tickets accepts no responsibility for misinformation given by a customer which results in any delay, missed flights, forfeited accommodation or any failure to complete all or parts of a passenger's onward journey.
Booking proceduresAll Place and Tickets packages are subject to availability.
To make a booking with Place and Tickets simply access the online booking section of our website at www.placeandtickets.com and follow the instructions page how it works. You will be asked to choose your package and details: Event Package or GoPack, the number of travellers, check-in and check-out dates, the accommodation and transfer/transport options.
While choosing your package you will be shown the total price and the price per person for your selection. Select ‘Book Now’ to proceed to payment and check-out page, where you must make payment for the total price of the package built using our accepted payment procedures.
After payment we will send an email confirming your booking. The contract with Place and Tickets will only be effective upon the issue of the full details of your purchased Package which will occur immediately after your booking request. It is vital that you confirm carefully all details and notify our support team for any correction or question related to your booking.
Prices and paymentsWe reserve the right to change the price of the Packages advertised on our website at any time before you book. Items not described or not included in the booking details are extra and are entirely of the responsibility of the provider and customer.
As stated before the contract with Place and Tickets will only be effective upon full payment.
Upon purchase of your Package you will be informed by email of package purchase details.
All transaction fees are charged to the customer and added to the price of packages.
PLEASE NOTE FAILURE TO PAY ON TIME WILL RESULT IN CANCELLATION.
By entering your payment details, you confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. We do not accept payment using third party credit or debit cards. All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If your card issuer refuses to authorise payment, we will not be able to process your booking.
Although we go to great lengths to ensure that our website is secure, and that it is not possible for any third party to access your payment or other personal information, we cannot be held liable in the event that any third party obtains personal data or information in an unauthorised manner, unless due to our own negligence.
TicketsPlace and Tickets is an official partner to all events with packages disclosed at our website, unless explicit detailed on the event info.
To access the events premises included in your Package you will need to produce, upon the designated check-point, a valid ticket or pass. This may vary for each event so we will inform you of specific procedures but be aware you may have to render a voucher, an e-ticket or present a payment confirmation and ID.
Place and Tickets is not liable for any refusal of admission on the basis of failure to produce valid documentation.
All Packages bookings that include tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, and can only be issued to the persons named on your confirmation. If you wish to change those names, please contact us and we will endeavour to assist you, although a small admin fee may be charged for this service.
Any bookings suspected of being conducted by tours, or for the express non authorised purposes of reselling, will be cancelled. In the event of your booking being cancelled by Place and Tickets, your will be refunded, but we will accept no responsibility for your alternative ticketing arrangements.
Be aware that all services/products included in the Package you booked are additionally subject to the terms and conditions of the individual promoters/organisers or providers.
AccommodationWe at Place and Tickets know how important accommodation can be to make a memorable experience, as such we went to great extent to find the best partners that would suit your needs, budget and quality wise!
We do not own any of the properties listed on our website, in this transaction, we act in good faith as an intermediary between the property owner/manager and the customer, and cannot be held responsible for the quality, location or standard of accommodation provided.
Also we cannot accept any responsibility for wear and tear or damage caused to the property during your stay, and cannot assist in any disputes over liability for any damages, nor for any costs arising from such a dispute
If you have booked accommodation as part of your Package, your booking confirmation also serves as your voucher and you must bring this with you and present it to the accommodation operator as evidence of your booking together with a form of valid ID.
Failure to arrive at the property will be treated as a cancellation on your part, and full payment will be due, in accordance with our cancellation policy that is as follows, cancellation wise:
- more than one month before arrival date will incur a charge of 50% of total accommodation cost
- one month or less before arrival date will incur a charge of 100% of total accommodation cost
However, we will make every effort in all cases for the full refund to our customers as possible, or by giving credit on a following booking.
If your booking is cancelled by us you will be refunded, but Place and Tickets accepts no responsibility for your alternative accommodation arrangements.
Transportation and transfersTransportation and transfers provided by Place and Tickets will become effective after booking and payment confirmation.
If you have booked transportation/transfers services as part of your Pack, your booking confirmation also serves as your voucher and you must bring this with you and present it to the operator as evidence of your booking together with a form of valid ID.
Place and Tickets is not liable for any refusal of admission on the basis of failure to produce valid documentation or failure to arrive in time for departure or otherwise.
Place and Tickets accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury to your person or your property, however caused.
Place and Tickets will use all reasonable means to ensure that vehicles depart at the stated time and reach their destination on time. Passengers are advised to allow at least an hour for passport control and baggage claim.Advertised departure times are only approximate and we will not be liable if any transfer arrives or departs later than scheduled. If the transport provider has to alter a departure point or arrival point or the date and time is changed, we will notify all customers as soon as advised by the transport provider. Be aware no refunds will be made if you miss your transfer due to flight delays, cancellations or you missing your flight. In the case of a delayed flight, drivers will wait as long as possible, with due consideration being given to the needs of delayed passengers as well as those already on board. If an additional transfer is required to get to your destination, this will be treated as a new and separate booking.
Place and Tickets will not incur any liability whatsoever in the event of any delay due to causes beyond its control, which include (but are not limited to) the following: accidents causing delays to the vehicle / vandalism and terrorism / exceptional or severe weather conditions / compliance with requests of the police / deaths and accidents on the road / unforeseen traffic delays /problems caused by other customers / other circumstances affecting passenger safety.
Your booking constitutes a reservation for a named individual to travel on one of our scheduled transportation/transfers.Transport bookings are non-transferable and may not be re-sold by customers. If that individual does not appear to claim their seat then they are deemed to have forfeited their reservation and Place and Tickets retains the right to resell that seat.
Payments made in respect of transport/transfer services are strictly non-refundable except in circumstances where Place and Tickets, due to causes beyond its control, cancels or, at its absolute discretion, agrees to cancel the booking. Place and Tickets accepts no responsibility for passengers' alternative travel arrangements.
Place and Tickets reserves the right (and delegate to the transport/transfer provider and drivers the right) to refuse to carry any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passenger(s).
Place and Tickets reserves the right to cancel the transportation parameter included in your Package if the minimum number of participants is not reached to sustain that service. In these cases we commit to refund all their transport amount.
Booking amendments, changes and cancellations
By usIt is our mission to deliver the best service possible to our customers and by its own definition our product aims to cut the hassle and make your life easier. As such we will try to keep changes to your booking to a minimum and we will advise you of any change the earliest possible.
Place and Tickets reserves the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices at any time in response to changes in external supplier costs. We will inform customers of any price changes as soon as we become aware that changes need to be made.
Prior to departure:
- Taking into consideration that your contract with us is only established when you receive a booking confirmation, if we make a change to the Package that you have requested before the contract is formed - which we will notify you of - you have the right to accept the amended package, or to reject it and take a full refund.
- In between the establishment of the contract (meaning you have received your booking confirmation) and the effective beginning of your Pack, any significant changes (for example date or location of the event) or cancellation of any part of your booking will be notified immediately with all details and you will have the choice to either: accept the revised package or (if we are able to offer one to you) take a substitute package of equivalent or superior quality for the same price as the original package; or (if we are able to offer one to you) take a substitute package of lower quality than the original package; or cancel the original package and obtain a full refund. You must inform us of your choice as soon as possible.
Be aware that the Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the event is cancelled or re-scheduled. If you’ve purchased a Package and there is a major change to the event such that the event is materially different to the one originally advertised we will be liable only to the extent of what was outlined above.
Taking into consideration our liability policy you may be entitled to compensation in case the Package contract is cancelled, unless by reason of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control or that of our suppliers, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if due care had been exercised.
Special requests, safety and health issuesPlease inform us with sufficient time of any special needs or requests so we can guarantee that they will be met by our team.
Please inform us of any medical problem or disability that may require assistance as soon as possible.
Complaints and claimsWe go to great lengths to deliver the highest standard of customer service but, if you have any complaint or claim, please tell the appropriate provider at the time the issue occurs and inform our support team.
If you fail to follow this procedure there will be less opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint. If you are unsure of the process or would like any advice you can contact Our Customer service team who will be happy to help and advice.
Our LiabilityOur mission is to provide the best service to our customers so they can truly enjoy an awesome experience with us and our partners!
We are not liable or accept any responsibility:
- For occurrences at the event, any acts or omissions of the event organiser, promoter or others except in the cases stated before.
Artists and attractions included in the event programme may be subject to change, we will advise you of any changes as soon as the information is disclosed by the event organiser or promoter.
- For any injury, illness, death, damage (like you not enjoying the experience), loss, expense, cost or other sum or claim of any description whatsoever which result from any of the following:
- the act(s) and/or omission(s) of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party or of a third party not connected with the provision of your booking and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable; unusual and unforeseeable events or circumstances beyond our, or our suppliers control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if due care had been exercised, including without limitation, exceptional or severe weather conditions, industrial action or fire; from the information you provided to us prior booking confirmation, we could not have foreseen you would suffer or incur if we breached our contract with you; that did not result from any breach of contract or other fault by ourselves or our employees or, where we are responsible for them, our suppliers;
- For any business losses whatsoever that does not arise from our breach of contract or other fault by ourselves or our employees or, where we are responsible for them, our suppliers.
- For any services that do not form part of our contract with you, including any additional services or facilities which any or all suppliers agree to provide for you where the services or facilities are not advertised on our website as being included in the price of your Package and we have not agreed to arrange them.
